WWE SmackDown Live Results 20th February 2018, Latest SmackDown winners and many more...



SmackDown starts off with Renee Young inviting AJ Styles down to the ring. The fans chant AJ's name as Renee asked him what he thought of the triple threat match at Fastlane becoming a Fatal-5-Way match. AJ replied that his destiny was still in his hands and even though the odds were against him, he was confident in his ability.
As AJ analyzed his opponents, Baron Corbin's music hit. Corbin said that he had AJ's number because AJ was just an athlete while he was a fighter. Corbin also added that he didn't need to pin AJ to win. Corbin sounded pretty confident of becoming the next WWE Champion.
Kevin Owens had heard enough and came out at this point. Owens said that he was so sick of hearing Corbin and Styles blabber that he had to come out and shut them up himself. Owens added that Corbin didn't belong anywhere near the WWE Championship scene.
As Owens went off in a rant about Shane McMahon, Shane himself interrupted Owens. Shane informed Owens that he would be facing Dolph Ziggler next on SmackDown next.


Kevin Owens vs Dolph Ziggler


Ziggler went right after Owens but the latter cut him off soon, sending him face-first into the announcer's table. Ziggler returned the favour before rolling Owens back into the ring. Owens got caught by a dropkick but rolled out to ringside to regroup.
Ziggler followed Owens out and Owens sent him back-first into the barricade before rolling him back into the ring. Ziggler hit him with a Stun Gun before looking to capitalize at ringside. Owens sent Ziggler back-first into the ring apron.
Back in the ring, Owens sent Ziggler crashing into the turnbuckle and followed it up with the canonball for a 2-count as we cut to a commercial break.
Back from the break, Ziggler hit a swinging neckbreaker for a 2-count. Owens replied by flooring Ziggler and hitting an elbow drop from the middle rope. Owens headed to the top rope after this and Ziggler tried to join him but Owens pushed him off and went for a Swanton Bomb. Dolph got his knees up at the last second and hit a Famouser for a nearfall.
Owens went to hit a Pop Up Powerbomb but Ziggler maneuvered out of it and hit a Zig Zag. It looked over as Dolph went for the cover but KO kicked out at the last second.
Sami Zayn's music hit at this point and Owens hit a distracted Ziggler with a superkick to the back of the head for the win.

Jinder calls out Bobby Roode


Jinder Mahal cut a hilarious promo where he tried to egg Randy Orton and Bobby Roode against each other. He added how Bobby Roode was on the SmackDown Top 10 list and Orton wasn't. Roode came out at this point and Mahal told him that some were calling him the new "legend killer".
Orton came out at this point and wiped Jinder out of the ring. Orton then went to RKO Roode but he hit Orton with a Glorious DDT. As Roode celebrated Jinder came from behind and hit him with a Khallas.

Charlotte, Becky Lynch and Naomi vs The Riott Squad


Naomi and Sarah Logan started us off. Naomi's superior speed helped her stay on top as she tagged in Becky, Logan made a tag to Ruby Riott but Becky and Naomi cleared house as we headed to commercial.
Back from commercial, Becky tagged in Naomi as the former Women's Champion went after Ruby Riott. Riott tagged in Liv Morgan who went face-first into the middle turnbuckle. Naomi followed it with a split-legged Moonsault. Morgan rolled out of the ring and Naomi followed her. Liv used the opportunity to send Naomi face-first into the steel steps.
Morgan then tagged in Sarah Logan who cut the ring in half for Naomi. Naomi slowly made it back to her feet but Logan knocked her back down. Naomi replied with a hurracanrana and tagged in Charlotte.
Charlotte Flair knocked Liv and Ruby Riott off the apron before hitting Logan with a neckbreaker followed by a Big Boot. Liv Morgan got on the apron and Charlotte booted her off but to great consequence. Logan used it to hit Charlotte with a couple of chop blocks from behind. Charlotte went down in a heap but tagged in Becky Lynch.
Becky hit Riott with a Bexploder before transitioning into the Dis-Arm-Her. Morgan broke it up but Charlotte came in and took her out. Logan took out Charlotte and Becky took out Logan. Ruby Riott came from behind and hit Beck with the Riott kick for the win.

The New Day vs Gable and Benjamin

Two of the best teams on SmackDown faced off and didn't disappoint. After some inital back and forth, Gable and Big E really got us going as Gable hit Big E with an incredible belly-to-belly suplex.
Big E replied by planting Gable with an Uranage Slam before heading to the top rope. Benjamin and Gable hit Big E with their finisher but Kofi distracted the referee and Woods broke up the count.
Woods came in and surprised Benjamin with a nasty looking Shining Wizard to pick up the win. Benjamin and Gable had this won but Kofi proved to be the difference.

Baron Corbin vs AJ Styles

The main-event of SmackDown Live saw Baron Corbin take on AJ Styles. Corbin dominated the opening stages of the match as he overpowered Styles, hitting him with some big moves including a modified chokeslam at ringside.
We came back from the first break to see Corbin still in control. AJ made it to his feet and hit Corbin with a couple of elbow strikes. Styles hit AJ with a low dropkick from the ring, with Corbin on the outside. AJ then got on the apron and hit Corbin with a sliding knee. AJ followed it with a Penomenal Forearm but didn't catch Corbin cleanly and the latter kicked out at the last second.
AJ followed it up with a strke combo but Corbin caught him and hit a bodyslam for a 2-count. Corbin followed it with a beautiful Deep Six before looking to set up the End of Days. Styles transitioned into the Calf Crusher but Corbin broke free.
As Corbin looked like he had AJ in his crosshair, Styles regrouped and hit a second Phenomenal Forearm for the win.
